WELCOME TO THE "INTEGRATED ANTIMICROBIAL STEWARDSHIP" ONLINE COURSE MODULE.

  • This module is designed to provide healthcare professionals with a comprehensive understanding of antimicrobial stewardship and how to integrate it effectively into clinical practice.
  • Antimicrobial stewardship is a crucial component of modern healthcare, aimed at optimizing the use of antimicrobials to improve patient outcomes, minimize resistance, and reduce healthcare costs.

AIM AND OBJECTIVES

  • To learn knowledge about integrated antimicrobial stewardship (IAS) practices in India that include antimicrobial stewardship (ASP), infection prevention stewardship (ISP), and diagnostic stewardship (DSP) in separate or in combination.
  • To learn skills to various healthcare cadres through capacity-building workshops, fellowships, or e-courses and develop tools/mechanisms for enabling IAS practices in own working areas.

MODULES

The 18 modules may be completed one at a time or in one sitting as users may log in and log out, as needed. Users have the option to complete module quizzes after reviewing the instructional material or choose to complete the module quizzes only, particularly for returning users. Accessing quizzes is easy.
